Brighton & Hove Jewish Representative Council

The Representative Council is the presiding body of the local Jewish Community, acting as an umbrella organisation embracing all Jewish organisations within Brighton and Hove as well as outlying communities, and covers most aspects of Jewish communal life.

Each organisation, of which there are around 50, is represented by an elected delegate, making the Council truly representative of our community.

The primary role of the delegate is to report back on matters discussed at the quarterly Council meetings to their own organisation, thus giving an insight to all on what is happening throughout the community.
